The Civitan Club of Birmingham was founded by a local group of business leaders in 1917 with a goal to do more than network and have meetings. They wanted to serve others. The lone club began to attract interest from like-minded leaders in other cities and quickly began to expand.

Today, Civitan International has members in clubs around the world but the “mother club” in Birmingham remains focused on impacting lives locally. Won’t you join us and change our city one project at a time.
